Here is a great 5 - 10 minute Push/Pull, High Intensity, Burst workout for your upper body that both men and women can do. This workout will really get your blood pumping and give you that nice V-shape look you are after. Remember it's those pull-ups that work your back and biceps, so don't only do push-ups and only train half your upper body.
The difference in this workout is that with your Work Horse Fitness Trainer, everyone should be able to do both push ups and pull ups. The other nice benefit is that you are using a free standing, portable pull up bar, so you don't have to do run to the closet to get your pull ups in. You can train outside, in the living room anywhere you want.
The Workout:
In 5 or 10 minutes do as many push ups and pull ups as you can!
Keep your rest period, and number of reps the same for the entire 5 or 10 minutes
The first couple of sets may be on the easy side...trust me it will get tougher in a moment.
Keep in mind the goal is to do as many reps as you can in 5 or 10 minutes.
This is a great high intensity, burst workout that shocks your fast twitch muscle fibers and cranks up your testosterone and growth hormones.
I like these workouts because they are short, which is especially great for my patients and clients who are dealing with over-training issues, chronic fatigue, adrenal exhaustion, etc.
It's also great if you are in good health and are looking for a quick upper body workout. If you've never done a true push/pull workout before you will be completely shocked at how good of a pump you will get for your whole upper body. Too often people leave out the 'pull up' part of their workout, which is why so many men and women like jworking out with the Work Horse.
Remember, you have to 'stress' those muscles if you want them to change!
If you don't stress the muscles they don't have any reason to become stronger and firmer!
The way to stress a muscle when doing body weight exercises is to...
