Hormone Imbalances

Stress and Cortisol aren’t the Cause of All our problems

Too much stress Is!

You can never balance your hormones if your adrenal glands are exhausted!

Constant stress will cause your body to produce more cortisol and adrenaline

As the graph shows...it will begin to deplete the other available hormones needed.

Stay in the 'fight or flight' mode too long and your body will steal those very important hormones DHEA (your anti-aging hormone), testosterone and estrogen

When you manage your stress – your body can produce adequate levels of DHEA, progesterone estrogen and testosterone

To produce cortisol you need progesterone

Is your progesterone being used for stress?

Or is it balancing out your estrogen level?

Progesterone and estrogen have a balance

If your progesterone is being used to make cortisol...it could explain why your estrogen is too high or why you don't have enough progesterone.

This can lead to

  • PMS
  • Hot Flashes
  • Mood Swings
  • Night Sweats
  • Menopausal Difficulties
  • Loss of Libido
  • Infertility

Cortisol isn’t bad for you - but if you make too much, that's a problem!

One of the best ways to measure hormones are with saliva testing.

FYI….The more cortisol you produce – the less serotonin (your feel good hormone) you produce. Most anti-depressants and anxiety medications are trying to manipulate what little serotonin you produce.  The goal is to increase your serotonin by natural approaches.
